It's Not Too Late

The day will come when
we cannot do this anymore.
Today is not that day!

Join two Americans as they venture beyond the comforts of home.  The adventure began in 2019 when Blog Author Linda and her husband Ron journeyed to Paris for three months.  They found an apartment, studied French, and attempted to fit in.  The experience convinced them to keep traveling, and they decided to live in and explore a different country yearly.  In 2020, they toured America by car for six weeks (the Pandemic nixed overseas travel).  In 2021, they lived for several months in Erfurt Germany, biking almost 500 miles through the Thüringen countryside. Upon returning home, they set off bike-packing across North America.  They headed across the Atlantic again in 2022,  touring Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and England.  Enjoy their story!

What's New...

We continue to test our limits and leave our comfort zone as we explore Bike & Barge river cycling in Europe.  Join us first on a Four Country Tour Along the Danube, where we cycled from Germany, through Austria, Slovakia, and Hungary, and back again, visiting the capital cities of Vienna (Austria), Bratislava (Slovakia), and Budapest (Hungary).  Click "more" to the far right of "All posts" to find our Danube Wanderlust.

Next up, another Bike & Barge cycle trip, this time through the wine country of southeast Germany along the Mosel River.

Come along and tour with us! We promise to do all the pedaling….
